Hannah Frank (Al Aaraaf) died in December 2008.  In  2009 she received two posthumous awards: Glasgow City Council's Lord Provost's award for Art, and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Glasgow - see below for a short video clip of the Glasgow University award.

Video clip of the posthumous award of Honorary Doctorate to Hannah Frank, Glasgow University Commemoration Day, 17th June 2009.  This award was was accepted by Hannah's niece Fiona Frank on her behalf. Includes the oration by the Principal, Sir Muir Russell, the conferring of the award by the Chancellor, Sir Kenneth Calman, and singing by the University choir.
