Special evening reception Wednesday 6th October 5 p.m - 7.30 p.m., all welcome.  

Includes many large sculptures never before exhibited in Glasgow, and many black and white drawings and sketches - including four drawings which have been in a private collection and haven't been seen since the 1970s.
'Prints, cards and books are for sale.  Some drawings and sculpture are also on sale at the gallery including a rare chance to bid in a silent auction on four black and white drawings and a set of two woodcuts.  See http://fionaathannahfrank.blogspot.com for details of how to bid and latest prices.
Also includes a display of the prize-winning poems from the recent Hannah Frank Poetry Competition.

At the gallery - write poetry inspired by Hannah Frank's drawings. A seating area for up to 16 people - bring your writing group or school group (call to book a slot) or come to one of our guided poetry workshops on Tuesday 14 September, Tuesday 5th October, and Saturday 30 October for adults, and Tuesday 26 October for schools .

'Hannah Frank - a Glasgow Artist'

Many of Hannah Frank's original drawings, prints and sculpture, some seen for the first time, and also never-before seen sketches and family portraits, were on show at Lancaster City Museum and Art Gallery, Market Street, Lancaster, from 25th April to 5th June 2004.  The Lancaster exhibition closed on 5th June 2004, after a successful 6 week run.  The exhibition then toured the UK over the next five years and finished in Glasgow in 2008, the year of Hannah Frank's 100th birthday.  See below for details of all the exhibition venues in the five year tour.

There are no plans for future exhibitions (except a small exhibition of prints at the Gregson, Lancaster, December 2012: but dates for any future exhibitions will be listed here.

Hannah Frank prints, original drawings, and sculpture were on show at the beautiful Etz Chayim gallery at this lovely synagogue location.

This exhibition was a tribute to the foresight and hard work of Frances Sacker, curator of the exhibition, who sadly passed away in the week that the exhibition started – but had been directing developments from her hospital bed.

A set of framed Hannah Frank prints was on show at Garnethill Synagogue, Hill St, Glasgow (just next to the Glasgow School of Art).

Garnethill Synagogue, a beautiful Romanesque building built in 1879 and designed by John McLeod, is the home of the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre, publishers of the new Hannah Frank art book.
