The exhibition runs to 6 February 2019, and is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are regular tours on Monday afternoons (including two, on 7 Jan and 4 Feb, adapted for people with visual impairment if required), four Friday lunchtime Talks (Jewish immigration to Glasgow/the Lost Wax Process/Hannah Frank The Spark Divine: Film and Director’s Talk/Opportunities in the Arts); four Open Workshops where you can make your own creative response to Hannah Frank’s work – two experimental embroidery workshops and an experimental drawing workshop with artist Myra Ostacchini, and one creative drawing workshop with Sylvie Rowland.
On the last weekend of the show there’s a visit to the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre at Garnethill Synagogue on the Sunday afternoon, where the extensive collection of Hannah Frank’s diaries, letters, scrapbooks and other papers are on show; followed by a book launch; “Candles, Conversions and Class: five generations of a Scottish Jewish Family” a book by Fiona Frank, published by the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre (with talks, food and music!)
There is also a special creative workshop with Myra Ostacchini for people with visual impairment, and a workshop for Black and Ethnic Minority arts students wanting to work in the creative arts.
All the activities are free. Supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland.
